THIS is the first glimpse at what YOUR new look Gainsborough Standard will look like.
In three weeks time we will be relaunching the Standard with a brand new design, as well as some new features.
The aim is to produce an even better newspaper for our readers,
You have probably noticed some subtle changes already. For instance, The Captain’s page and District News have moved.
The new look Standard will still have all your favourite bits, but will also have some added extras.
The sport section will be bigger and better, as will Readers’ Letters.
We will also be introducing a brand new Reports from the Courts section, and a new Clubs and Groups section.
We want to know what YOU think of our plans.
What do we currently do that you think we could do better?
What aren’t we doing, that you think we should be doing?
What would you like to see more of?
Please feel welcome to have your say on all of these things.
After all, the Gainsborough Standard is your newspaper.
During relaunch week, and for the weeks after that, we will be holding a series of Meet the Editor events in Gainsborough, where you will be able to come down and have a chat with myself and other members of the editorial team.
These will be great opportunities to tell us what you think of the new look Gainsborough Standard, as well as tell us about the big issues in Gainsborough that are affecting you.
Myself and the rest of team would love to chat to you about all these things at our Meet the Editor events - times, dates, location of these events will be published in the Standard and on www.gainsboroughstandard.co.uk
Also over the next couple of weeks we will be telling you more and showing you more of what we have got planned for the new look Standard.
In the meantime please let us know of your thoughts on our relaunch plans, and any ideas you have to improve the paper.
