A female cyclist was seriously hurt in an accident near Spring Gardens

A woman who was air-lifted to hospital after a serious road accident in Gainsborough last week remains in a ‘critical but stable’ condition.

The female cyclist was left ‘seriously injured’ following an accident on Spring Gardens in Gainsborough at around 11.11am on Wednesday 13th March after a collision with a lorry.

An ambucopter attended the scene and transported the lady to Hull Royal Infirmary.

Beaumont Street was for much of the day between Spital Terrace and the Tesco junction for police investigations.
