Unpaid work raises hundreds for Bluebell Wood
Probation managers, magistrates and staff got a taste of what it is like to be on a community sentence.
But their work by employees at South Yorkshire Probation Trust did not go un-rewarded as they were raising funds for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
The staff donned high visibility jackets and work boots to experience unpaid work.
Their volunteering and hard work certainly paid off because they raised hundreds of pounds for the North Anston-based charity.
Recently members of the trust, along with their chief executive officer Roz Brown visited the hospice to hand over the cheque for £1,000.
