Talent Bassetlaw final
THE winner of Talent Bassetlaw will be crowned next Friday after 18 local acts battle it out in the grand final.
Worksop’s Regal Theatre will showcase some of Bassetlaw’s most talented singers, dancers, musicians and even a Derren Brown style psychic entertainer.
Gerald Connor from Bassetlaw, Newark and Sherwood Community Safety Partnership said: “Having seen all the acts at the audition stage, the quality and variety of the performers is amazing.”
A high-profile panel of judges, including the star of Channel 4’s Coppers PC Daniel Cooper and Bassetlaw Council’s youngest councillor, Rebecca Leigh, will give the acts some feedback. But the job of deciding the overall winner will rest with the audience.
“There’s no better reason to come along and support the acts whether they are family, friends or complete strangers to you,” added Gerald.
“Last year’s final played to a full house, let’s make this year as equally special for those involved.”
The final of Talent Bassetlaw takes place at the Regal Theatre, Carlton Road, Worksop on Friday 21st September. Doors open at 6.15pm.
