A WORKSOP charity is on the look out for new volunteers.
County Coun Alan Rhodes recently donated £1,000 to Worksop Live at Home Scheme, which provides emotional and practical support to older people living in their own homes.
The charity runs lunch clubs, activities and befriending as well as day trips and a newsletter.
Growing older can be lonely, especially for those who are house bound. The scheme is short of volunteers for befriending, so if you could spare up to an hour each week Worksop Live at Home Scheme would love to hear from you.
To get involved with the scheme as a befriending volunteer, call 01909 732488.
