Macmillan Cancer Support is coming to Retford this month - offering some help to anyone needing information about cancer.

Look out for the bright green bus in the Market Place from 9am to 3.30pm on Thursday 28th March.

Helen Tuvey, service manager of the Macmillan Mobile Information and Support Service, said cancer information specialists will be on hand for anyone with a question about cancer.

“No-one should face cancer alone but a service such as ours means support is available nearby,” she said.

“We’re here for anyone - people who have had a cancer diagnosis, carers, friends or anyone who just wants to know more about cancer.”

She added: “The service is free, confidential and no appointment is necessary - just step on board.”

If you are unable to visit the mobile information centre but require information, call Macmillan free on 0808 808 00 00 (Monday to Friday, 9am-8pm) or visit macmillan.org.uk
