Speed bumps for Priorswell Road

A busy road in Worksop will close for two weeks to allow speed bumps to be built.

Traffic will not be able to travel on Priorswell Road from 8am on Monday 4th March until 6pm on Monday 18th March.

Notts County Council has made an order preventing vehicles using the full length of the road during that period.

The closure is to allow the council to install speed bumps and paint white lines on the road.

Residents and parents of children playing in the nearby Canch Park have long campaigned for traffic control measures along the stretch.

Alternative routes are via Eastgate, Kilton Road, High Hoe Road and Cheapside.
