Snow cancels Gainsborough market

GAINSBOROUGH residents are informed that due to heavy snow the market in the town’s Market Place has been cancelled tomorrow (Tuesday 15th January)
West Lindsey District Council have announced that ‘adverse weather’ has forced them to cancel the market.
Further heavy snow is forecast for this afternoon and this evening.
Residents have complained about the ‘dangerous’ and slippery state of icy paths around the town centre - especially on Lord Street and Market Street.
