the Lindrick Singers performed a concert at Carlton Methodist Church recently.
After the concert the choir’s musical director Andy Booth was presented with a cheque for £500 by Notts County Councillor Alan Rhodes.
The money funded the choir’s performance at an open-air prom concert in Barlow with a 60 piece orchestra.
The choir performs a range of popular and traditional music and rehearsals are on Fridays at Carlton Civic Centre from 1pm.
New members are always welcome. There are no auditions and it is not necessary to be able to read music. The choir’s next concert is on 27th October at the Crossing, Worksop.
