CHRISTMAS is coming. So it’s time to don your dazzling Santa suit and get running for the annual Bassetlaw Santa Dash.

The glowing event in Saturday 1st December will see hundreds of jolly red Santas dashing along a 3km route around The Canch Memorial Park in Worksop. It all starts at 10.30am.

Not only will it be great fun, it is raising much-needed cash for cancer charity Aurora - the Worksop Guardian’s adopted charity for 2012.

Once you’ve caught your breath, there will be an array of Christmas stalls and a winter wonderland for the kids to enjoy.

All it costs is £10 to enter, which includes a full Santa suit, beard and medal. Accompanied under-14s can go as Rudolph for free. For more details call Sally Richardson on 01909 502767.
