Salvation Army Present Appeal

GAINSBOROUGH'S Salvation Army is calling on residents to make Christmas special for those with little or nothing under the Christmas tree to look forward to.

The charity is asking for new and unwrapped toys to distribute throughout the community in time for Christmas as part of the Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal 2009.

Anyone wishing to help out can leave their gifts at the members’ help desk of the Lindsey Centre in the Market Place, and are welcome to attend the Christmas Toy Service in the upper hall of the Methodist Church, on North Street, at 10am on Sunday 6th December, the day of the collection deadline. A lift is available inside.
