Police

POLICE are appealing for information after thieves stole a rabbit-shaped flower tribute from a Retford florist over the weekend.

It happened between 6pm on Saturday 13th October and 7.45am today (Monday 15th October 2012) at More Than Flowers in Coronation Street.

The rabbit was taken from the rear of the shop when the lock was forced to an adjoining refrigerated shed.

The foot-high rabbit, made of white flowers with a pink lace trim at the bottom was later recovered, discarded in a nearby street, but police are hoping shoppers in the area may have seen the culprits.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Notts Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
