Gainsborough Police are warning residents to be vigilant after further sightings of a con man.

A police spokesman said: “We are getting reports that males of ‘Mediterranean appearance’ are approaching the public for money. They’re asking for petrol money to get them to an airport or London in return for being offered jackets or watches.”
