Car accident near Knaith, Gainsborough

DRIVERS faced delays in the Gainsborough area this morning as snow brought roads to a standstill.

Lincolnshire Police reported a number of accidents on the roads around West Lindsey.

A number of vehicles were involved in a crash on the A156 near Knaith at around 8.30am.

Our photo shows the scene where three or four were cars strewn along the side of the road.

Gainsborough Police issued advice to drivers to take extra care, especially on hills and minor roads.
