Police given more time to question suspects in Everton murder inquiry

Police have been granted more time to question five suspects in connection with a body found on farmland in Everton.

Four of the suspects, a woman and three men, were arrested on Monday 4th February and a fourth man was arrested yesterday (Wednesday 6th February).

A murder inquiry was launched after the man’s body was discovered in Middle Cross Lane, between Harwell Sluice Lane and Everton Lane, on Saturday 2nd February.
