Police crack down on fuel thefts

Police have built up quite a collection of fuel drums and barrels in their fight against fuel theft.

Operation Cargo has launched across the county to disrupt diesel thieves operating on the main commuter routes.

Since January, Notts Police has had 149 reports of theft and attempted theft of fuel, with 37 per cent being near the A1.
