Police seize a stolen van on Ryton Street.

There was a high speed police chase through Worksop town centre this afternoon (Thursday).

Officers were in pursuit of a stolen van, which had been taken after the driver left the keys in the ignition.

The van drove the wrong way down Ryton Street, chased by four police cars.

The driver abandoned the van on Ryton Street and made off on foot, but was apprehended by officers on Bridge Street.
