Plant bulb in Field of Hope
Guardian News
A CANCER charity is offering bereaved relatives the chance to plant a daffodil in memory of a loved one.
Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Rotherham fundraising group launched the Field of Hope in Clifton Park last year.
People were able to arrange for a flower to be planted in someone’s memory and a dedication for each daffodil was written in a remembrance book. The appeal has raised nearly £1,000 and the group is planting more bulbs ready for spring.
To plant a flower call 0114 2793010 or send donations to Rotherham Field Of Hope Appeal, 3 Bells Court, Bells Square, Sheffield S1 2FY. Include your name and address, and the name, birthday and date of death of the person to be remembered.
