A GROUP of paramedics from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance will be taking part in a world record attempt this evening.

They will be attempting to break the record for the longest time playing five-a-side football, at Wickersley Sports College.

The group attempted the record in May but were hampered by bad weather. They hope to raise £7,200, the cost of a day’s flying for the air ambulance.

Kick off is at 5.30pm and they are aiming to play until 3pm on Sunday.
