Mardi Gras event at the Ashley

THERE will be carnival capers a-plenty at the Ashley pub in Worksop this weekend when it hosts a special Mardi Gras event to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The fun will kick off at 5pm on Saturday with a Just Dance contest followed by a disco and dance workshop from local dance company Streets Ahead.
Aurora Wellbeing charity will be hosting various stalls from 12-4pm on Sunday which will also see karaoke entertainment, raffle and charity auction.
Local singer Hannah O’Sullivan will round off the evening’s entertainment with a special singing performance.
Said Hannah: “It’ll be a great way to raise money for cancer and the event is totally free, so please come along and support us.”
