Man in court over taxi robbery

A 20-year-old Worksop man has appeared in court charged with robbery.
Adam Revill, of Lincoln Street, was called before Mansfield magistrates earlier today (Friday 25th January 2013).
It is alleged he robbed a taxi driver at gunpoint in an incident in Netherton Road, Manton, just before 1am on Wednesday.
A bail application was put forward, but denied by magistrates.
He was remanded in custody until his next appearance at Nottingham Crown Court on 8th February when he is expected to enter a plea.
