Local historian Peter Bradshaw will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Gainsborough and District Branch of The Royal British Legion.

Mr Bradshaw will talk about his work on Gainsborough’s Roll of Honour, which commemorates those who answered the country’s call to duty and paid the ultimate sacrifice, not returning home to enjoy the freedom for which they fought.

The meeting is being held on Thursday 20th September at the United Services Club in Bridge Street, Gainsborough at 7.30 pm.
