Kirton in Lindsey man in ‘critical condition’ after A631 bike crash

A MAN from Kirton in Lindsey is in a critical condition in hospital after a bike crash on the A631 at North Willingham yesterday (Tuesday 12th February)
This incident happened at about 10:50am when a cyclist riding with a group fell from his bicyle near to Ash Grove Farm on the A631 at North Willingham.
The man, believed to be aged in his early 40’s from the Kirton-in-Lindsey area, was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary by the Air Ambulance.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “He has since undergone surgery on his head injuries and remains in ICU in a critical condition.”
“We are investigating in an effort to establish what happened. The investigating officer is Nigel Gasgoine of the Lincolnshire Police Collision Investigation Unit.”
“Nigel is appealing for witnesses who either saw the incident or the cyclists prior to it to contact him.”
