Hospital gets top scores
GAINSBOROUGH's John Coupland Hospital has been awarded the highest possible rating in the 2010 Patient Environment Action Team Assessments.
The hospital was awarded ‘excellent' in all areas; environment, food and privacy and dignity.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services hospital matron Jill Anderson said she was delighted with the 2010 PEAT scores and extremely proud of all of her colleagues' hard work.
"Everyone at the hospital has worked really hard to keep the standards at ‘excellent' for another year," she said.
"We aim to make our patients' stay as comfortable as possible so it is great to be recognised by The National Patient Safety Agency as having high standards."
