Help is at hand from Bassetlaw Citizens Advice Bureau
ARE you experiencing money problems or worried about scams? Help is at hand from Bassetlaw Citizens’ Advice Bureau (CAB).
At the recent annual general meeting director Stephen Saddington highlighted the problems people are facing in the current recession and the impact this is having on individuals and the local community.
“Although debt enquiries had dropped slightly over 2011/12 period the bureau has seen many more people who are gradually slipping into financial difficulties because of the impacts of falling or stand-still incomes,” he said.
“The effects of rising prices and stand-still or declining incomes means household budgets are being squeezed at both ends.”
Bassetlaw CAB is based on Central Avenue, Worksop, and is open Monday and Wednesday from 9.30am-3pm and Fridays 9.30am-1pm.
