Spooky fun at Treetops Day Nursery Halloween workshop (w121031-8)

Tots at a Worksop nursery had a very different day in the classroom as they got involved with some Halloween fun.

Treetops Day Nursery, on Celtic Point, let their children get stuck into the fun day where they got up to all sorts of mischief.

Activities included decorating Halloween biscuits, pin the tail on the cat, sponge printings, making Halloween masks and filling a water tray up with jelly and creepy crawlies.

There was even a chance for parents to get involved, as there was a workshop opened up especially for them.

Nursery manager Jo Bullivant said: “All the parents gave us fantastic feedback and absolutely loved it, along with the children.”

“The children got to experience different textures throughout the day, so as well as having fun, it all links in with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Scheme)”.
