Adult mental health patients are using green therapy in the garden they made to set them on the road to recovery.

Rehabilitation patients with long-term mental health needs from Swallownest Court, run by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust have created a mini paradise in the grounds of the complex.

As well as the garden giving them something to look after, learning about the needs of plants has given them a great deal to share with others.

Service user Fareed said: “I like growing flowers; it makes me feel all right. The garden reminds me of Kashmir where I was born.”
