Gritting continues across Bassetlaw

GRITTERS are still out in the Worksop and Retford areas following heavy snowfall overnight and this morning.
A Notts County Council spokesman said all 23 of its gritting lorries were out across the county between 1am and 6am, covering all A and B roads and main bus routes.
From 6am lorries have been out spot gritting and responding to any police requests.
“They are still out in the Worksop and Retford areas,” added the spokesman.
