A PORKY pursuit took place in Gainsborough when the town’s police force gave chase to a runaway pig.

As you can see from this picture taken by local resident Matt Bridgett, the pig was seen running down Lea Road.

On Wednesday 13th February, Gainsborough NPT reported: “Strangest job so far was chasing a pig down Lea Road! Managed to keep it away from traffic and its now safe with some new family.”
