Phillip Morgan has admitted child porn charges

A GAINSBOROUGH PERVERT is to face sentence later this week after admitting downloading hundreds of child porn images from the internet.

Phillip Morgan was told to ‘await the inevitable’ when he returns for sentencing.

The 46-year-old of Sanders Maltings, Gainsborough, who was due to stand trial in front of a jury this month changed his plea when he appeared before Lincoln Crown Court on Monday 21st January.

Morgan admitted nine charges of making an indecent photograph of a child on dates between 13th November 2009 and 4th April 2011.

He also pleaded guilty to possession of a prohibited image of a child and two charges of possessing a total of 415 indecent images of a child on 12th May 2011.

Morgan was granted conditional bail to appear back to the Crown Court for sentence on Friday 25th January.

Judge James Sampson warned him: “You must prepare yourself for the inevitable on Friday.”
