WEST Lindsey Council and NHS Lincolnshire will be asking "Are you gambling with your health?" as it urges residents across the district to get their free blood pressure check during Know Your Numbers! week, from 13th-19th September.
Council health network co-ordinator Vicki Slinger urged people to get checked out to lower their odds of stroke and heart attack.
"If their blood pressure is high it is easily monitored by the practice nurse or treated by the GP. We can offer help from health trainers who can give advice for lifestyle changes if appropriate," she said.
