Drug dealer owns up...

A WORKSOP man notorious for his court appearances has been sentenced for dealing drugs.

Ashby Espin, 22, of The Croft, admitted possession of cannabis with intent to supply, and supply of the drug, at Nottingham Crown Court last Friday 1st February.

The court heard how police stopped Espin, who was with a group of men, on 1st August 2012. He had six bags of cannabis on him.

Prosecuting, Robby Singh said Espin told police he had been dealing to funding his own habit for a couple of months. He was described as a low level supplier.

Judge John Milmo continued an existing community order which Espin was serving, for 12 months, including probation supervision, and order he must carry out 100 hours unpaid work.
