Local businesses and residents are showing ‘extraordinary’ support for a PCSO’s six-week renovation project to transform a run-down Worksop church into a community centre.

PCSO Ryan Bowskill has joined forces with friend and businessman Jamie Vernon to convert the derelict New Life church, in Plantation Hill, into a community hub for Kilton residents.

They have given themselves a six-week deadline, and as the project hits the halfway mark, they are on track to open its doors in October.
