‘Do not take advantage of vulnerable’

GAINSBOROUGH Police have issused a warning that they will not tolerate those who take advantage of vulnerable citizens.

PC Casey of the Town South NPT has issued a formal warning to a local man who was harrassing a vulnerable adult for money.

A spokesman said: “Having managed to take over £100 from him, the male was located by PCSO’s on Tuesday 15th January. After ignoring their verbal warning not to visit him again.”

“If he now ignores this warning he will be arrested and put in front of a court. We take calls regarding vulnerable adults very seriously. If you know someone who is being taken advantage of then please contact us in confidence.”
