A WORKSOP man who defied a direction order has been fined £50.

On 19th September police told Matthew Morris, 41, of Ely Close, to leave Worksop town centre for 48 hours, for being drunk and difficult.

He returned after a few hours and was arrested. Defending, David Verity, said he had not understood ‘what constituted the town centre’.
