Members of Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce have raised £600 for The Children’s Hospital Charity.
The business people dug deep at the chamber’s Christmas lunch to support the hospital’s Make it Better campaign, which is aiming to raise £20 million towards its £40 million transformation.
The chamber’s executive director Andrew Denniff said: “The Children’s Hospital does an excellent job of caring for many children from the Barnsley and Rotherham areas and we are pleased to support their charity campaign.”
Children’s Hospital Charity fundraiser Tchad Western added: “We’re thrilled the chamber has supported us this Christmas and would like to say a big thank you on behalf of the children and their families who will be spending time on the wards during the festive season.”
