Cat rescued in Retford from car engine

FIRE crews were called to a road in Retford following reports of a cat being stuck in a car engine this morning (Wednesday 5th September).

Crews from Retford and Tuxford were called to Waterfields around 9.40am to rescue the cat who later had to have its leg amputated.

They left the scene around 10.30am.
