Firefighters had a busy weekend dealing with several fires around the region.

A shed fire broke out in Lime Tree Avenue around 9.30pm on Saturday evening.

Firefighters were at the scene around an hour extinguishing the fire, which did not spread to other buildings.

On Sunday evening, a fire crew from Maltby attended a conifer fire on Manor Road around 4.35pm. It is believed the fire was started deliberately.
