Children from Prospect Hill Infants’ School have been helping to build and install bird boxes as part of the Big Garden Bird Watch event organised by the RSPB.
They were joined by Coun Alan Rhodes at Prospect Hill Woodlands, who helped them create the boxes ready for the national challenge.
The Big Garden Bird Watch was held over one weekend in February and asked everyone to spend an hour in their local park or garden counting birds.
