East Midlands In Bloom judges have awarded Gainsborough a Bronze Award for tidying up the centre.

The Old Hall, Marshall’s Yard and Showfield Allotments were highlighted as being of impressive high standard, while The Tractor Roundabout and Riverside Walk Mosaics gained credits as good examples of local heritage landscaping.

Marshall’s Yard received a special award for its outstanding ground floral displays, hanging baskets and innovative plans for future displays.

David Hawkins, Gainsborough In Bloom member, said: “We are really pleased with the results of this year’s campaign.”
