A new skate park valued at around £48,000 has been opened at Clarborough.

The project was conceived by Clarborough & Welham Parish Council, with vice chairman Ann Codling as project leader.

It went on to achieve major funding from WREN Enviromental, after which Notts County Council took over the building and remaining funding for the Skatepark.

Local teenagers played their part in fundraising and giving their input on design.

Coun Codling thanked everyone who had contributed, especially the County Council & WREN.
