A 14-YEAR-OLD youth has admitted a robbery in Castle Hill Park in Worksop.

The teenager pleaded guilty at Nottingham Crown Court to robbing a youth of a bag containing alcohol on 31st August.

The 14-year-old had wept in the dock the previous week when his case was adjourned for him to consider his position.

The prosecution dropped their charges against two older co-accused youths, aged 20 and 17, who had formal not guilty verdicts entered in their cases.

Judge Nigel Godsmark bailed the 14-year-old until sentencing at Worksop Youth Court on 9th November.
