Award winners an inspiration
INSPIRATIONAL achievers from across Bassetlaw were celebrated at a special awards ceremony at Retford Town Hall.
Bassetlaw Council chairman Ian Campbell presented certificates to winners of all ages to recognise their individual achievements and contributions.
“Our annual Achievers Awards are a chance for the council to recognise the outstanding achievements of individuals and groups throughout the district,” he said.
“Our winners are made up of people who have dedicated years to community service, have raised vital funds for charities, displayed unwavering acts of bravery and worked hard to make their communities better place to live.”
“I am extremely proud to recognise all our nominees whose individual contributions are a credit to us all. I hope their examples inspire others to help make a difference.”
