Arrests made after town drug searches

A NUMBER of arrests have been made after two police searches for drugs in Gainsborough.

A search warrant was executed on 13th October in the Uphills area.

One firearm, a quantity of cannabis and hydroponics lighting were seized and a 47-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class B drug and possession of a firearm.

The man was bailed pending further enquiries until 25th October.

Then, between Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October, a search warrant was executed on Sandsfield Lane where a quantity of drugs were located and two people were arrested for possession with intent to supply.
