A57 truck crash driver is named
Accident on the A57, Worksop
The truck driver who died after a crash on the A57 in Worksop on Monday has been named.
Barry Hulbert, from Leicester, was driving towards Worksop at around 6.50am when his vehicle left the road at the roundabout junction near the Wilkinson’s depot entrance.
The 56-year-old was taken to Bassetlaw Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Notts Police said no other vehicle was involved and no one else was hurt in the incident.
The road between Wilkinson’s and the Manton Wood roundabout was closed for several hours while officers worked at the scene. It reopened at around 10.45am.
Police are now appealing for anyone who saw the crash, or has any information about it, to contact Notts Police on 101, quoting incident 89 of 28th January 2013.
