Children admitted to the Disney ward at Scunthorpe hospital will benefit from a donation from the Glanford and Lindsey Lions.
They have raised money which will go towards buying a piece of equipment so staff can fit a cannula easier.
Sue Carter, former president for the Glanford and Lindsey Lions, said: “Each year from June to June the president chooses a number of charities which the group fund-raise for all year, then we then split the money between them.”
The Accuvein AV400 device allows hospital staff to shine a light onto a patient’s arm to help identify veins easily when giving injections and cannulation.
The £100 donation was raised by the Lions group which covers areas such as Kirton-in-Lindsey, Messingham, Scottor and Scotton.
