The grounds of Lincoln Castle will again provide the setting for what has become one of the most popular events in the county calendar, the annual Sausage Festival.

Last year’s event saw a whopping 32,000 sausages sold.

And organisers the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia and Select Lincolnshire are hoping this year’s festival, on Saturday, 25th October, will be even bigger and better.

Coun Colin Davie, executive member for economic development, said: “This year’s festival will again have plenty to get the tastebuds tingling, and more than just our famous sausages to tempt you.”

The castle grounds are open from 10am to 4pm and entry to the event is free.
