Lincs: Poetry and haunting drama in Nosferatu

Proper Job’s production of Nosferatu, written by celebrated poet Ian MacMillan, is at the Plowright Theatre in Scunthorpe on Friday, October 30.

Bram Stoker’s Dracula describes how a ship leaves Transylvania with a full crew and arrives in Whitby empty except for the captain, dead, strapped to the wheel and a mysterious cargo of wooden boxes.

Nosferatu unravels the dark and chilling tale of these sailors in the last hour before dawn and combines the beautiful poetry of Ian McMillan with the tension created by Bram Stoker.

The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £12 on 0844 8542776.
