Comedy stars Cannon & Ball will again head the cast for lincoln Theatre Royal’s annual pantomime, Jack and The Beanstalk.
And, in honour of the comedy pair’s service and support of the pantomime at Lincoln over the last six years, the theatre has also announced that the two main dressing rooms will be renamed the Tommy Cannon Dressing Room and the Bobby Ball Dressing Room.
“We are delighted that the pantomime season is upon us again,” said Ian Dickens, chief executive at the Theatre Royal.
“This is our fifth pantomime and it is on course for being a record-breaker not only in box office figures but also in audience numbers.”
Joining Cannon & Ball in the cast are Peter Amory (Chris Tate from Emmerdale) who returns for his third year as the baddie, while Steve Barclay is back for a fourth year as the dazzling Dame Trot.
Emily Trebicki, well-known to Lincolnshire audiences, is appearing as Jack, local actress Emily Childs is Fairy and Paul Lavers, another well-known face at the Theatre Royal is the Fairyland King.
Principle girl Jill is played by Lucy Lavelle, while the youngsters from the Janet Ashton School of Dance will play the panto babes for the fifth year running.
Directed by Ian Dickens, with book by Chris Moreno, choreography by Stuart Glover and Toby Kennedy as musical director, Lincolnshire audiences can expect a fast-paced, traditional, hilarious and fun-packed, all singing, all dancing pantomime for the entire family.
The show runs from Monday, 8th December until Sunday, 11th January.
