The Football Field on Harrison Drive in Langold will come alive with the sounds of children playing football later this month.
Langold Juniors Football Club are putting on the tournament between many local clubs to raise funds for Bassetlaw Hospice.
Shaun Charnock has arranged the event in memory of his wife Elaine, who used the Hospice services.
The day is on Sunday, 19th July will run from 10am -5pm with a football tournament, bouncy castles, slides, face painting, donkey rides, stalls and much more.
“We wanted to do something for the local children and raise some money for a great local charity that supported me and my family at an incredibly difficult time,” said Shaun.
“ We wanted to give something back to the Hospice to thank them for all their care and support.”
“And what better way than putting on a great day out for all the family. “
“Whether your children are currently playing or would like to join the club we’d love to see you there taking part and getting involved and helping us to raise much needed funds for a charity very close to my heart.”
